Lily Chongswatdi is a cellist from Ona, West Virginia completing her undergraduate degree in Music through the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University. She founded the Appalachian String Initiative to provide accessible music education opportunities to her home community in West Virginia and in southeast Ohio where she attends school. Lily loves performing, teaching, and advocating for music education in schools and communities.Â

From Dover, Ohio, Sidney Garrett is a Music Education major at Ohio University with a focus in instrumental pedagogy. Sidney's primary instrument is cello, although their studies expand into other instruments for diverse classroom learning. Also proficient in conducting, Sidney is a passionate music educator who puts their talents to good use in and out of the classroom.

Riley Hendricks is currently a sophomore at Ohio University pursuing a degree in Music Education. She is the Vice President of the OU chapter of the American String Teachers Association as well as the section leader of the Ohio Symphony basses. Riley strive to put her students first and brings consistent energy and enthusiasm to the classroom.
